Sir: My name is Konstantin. I am 15 years old, and I live in Russia. I am disabled by birth and hence unable to walk. I use a wheelchair to move around. I am studying through distant learning. In our town, unfortunately, there are no schools for special children. Every month, I attend the regular school for few days to remain part of the system. Being a good student, I get good marks. In short, my life is wonderful and almost perfect. I have a dream to become a journalist when I grow up. I enjoy watching news on TV and I read newspapers. Even while using the internet, I prefer reading news to any other stuff. I consider it a very important profession since it is all about informing people, keeping them aware of their surroundings, thus putting them in a position to act wisely. After finishing high school, I will study journalism. I may not be able to move around the way other reporters do owing to my disability, but I assume, writing articles, columns and working on a news desk will be open to me.I enjoy collecting anything related to news — editorials, columns, news analysis, etc. I even imagine myself working in your newspaper when I am a journalist! I would be obliged if I could get a hard copy of your newspaper to get the feel of it. Who knows, one day, we might be working as colleagues!KONSTANTIN NEDVIGANoyabrsk,Russia
