Sir: The alleged scandal involving the CJP’s son reminds me of the March 9, 2007 reference against Mr Iftikhar Chaudhry in which allegations of serious nature were levelled against his son. Incidentally, the merits of the case were never discussed and the case was knocked down on technical grounds. It is time that such serious allegations are re-investigated. As time passes, it is getting clear that the actions of General Musharraf were correct. It was also shocking to read a column in which Mr Arsalan Iftikhar stated his business value to be at Rs 900 million. I wonder if it is another scandal that the CJP’s son is almost a billionaire. Now here is a lucky son who a few years ago, allegedly twisted the rules to get into the FIA. What a change in fortune! REHAN ZAMIN Karachi
