Sir: My name is Tahir Hussain and I am a resident of 30/Z, Street 28, Dhoke Ratta, Rawalpindi. I currently live in Canada. I am the owner of a plot of land measuring 11 marlas. It is plot number 104, situated in Mozia Churharpal, district Rawalpindi. My elder brother built a house on it with my permission and lived there for a long time. He tried to occupy the house and was thrown out on my behalf in 2011. Since then, the house has been locked up and the key has been with my family, residing at 30/Z. All legal documents are there including the original deed. No one was living there but then, one fine day, a group of land grabbers broke the lock and occupied my house. They cut down the trees in the yard and broke some interior installations. They are now claiming that they own the house. I have no one there to take care of this issue as all are ladies and they cannot fight these land grabbers. They seem to be no less than powerful goons so I hereby request the authorities, through the pages of your esteemed newspaper, to please first investigate and ask the neighourhood what people say regarding my house. The authorities may then take any proper action. I hope to have this issue resolved because, if in my own country my house or property is not safe, then how can I complain if anything happens to me or my assets abroad? TAHIR HUSSAIN Montreal, Canada
