Sir: Despite the fact that students of the International Islamic University are paying a huge amount of money in tuition fees, they are not provided with even the minimum quality of administration and services. The students have to face harassment by the university employees on a daily basis and there is no department in the university to take the complaints of the students and solve their problems. Only recently, I went to the central library to have a book issued and had to wait for a whole 25 minutes at the entrance because students are not allowed to enter the library premises without submitting their bags. There were only two ladies taking bags from the students and giving them tokens in return; they were quite busy in their chitchat and were neglecting their duty. On being suggested that they hurry up a bit, the ladies started treating the students in a most uncivilised and abusive manner, refusing to take their bags and denying them entry to the library. At the end of the ordeal, when I succeeded in getting into the library, I approached the chief librarian to file my complaint who simply laughed it off by saying that they could not help in improving the situation because the university does not provide sufficient employees and funds.
After being disappointed by the university itself, I request the relevant department to take immediate notice of the mismanagement by the university and the irresponsible behaviour of its administration.
