Sir: Federal Minister Abdul Qadir Baloch, who belongs to the ruling PML-N, has criticized Imran Khan, the chief of PTI, for having no development programme for Sindh and Balochistan in his manifesto. Before commenting on the PTI’s programme, first I would like to ask the federal minister what his leader Mian Nawaz Sharif has done for the development of Sindh so far. During his last two terms (total period about six years), he did not launch a single mega development project for Sindh. On the contrary, he eliminated some mega development projects launched by Shaheed Benazir Bhutto in Sindh. The present government under Nawaz Sharif has retained more or less similar regrettable policies towards Sindh.I suggest Abdul Qadir Baloch who had been governor of his native province Balochistan during General (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s regime, to not be more loyal than the king and stop distorting facts as far as Sindh is concerned.MOHAMMAD KHAN SIALVia Email
