ISLAMABAD: UN aid agencies have reported that a famine in South Sudan has left 100,000 people on the verge of starvation and almost 5 million people are in need of urgent help in the country. The UN World Food Programme and non-governmental organizations also made an alarming revelation that more than a million children are suffering from acute malnutrition.
