CHUQIAGO: Without the suspended Lionel Messi and struggling for air at high altitudes, Argentina’s World Cup qualification campaign was left in a rut on Tuesday. The host side Bolivia beat the visitors with the help of two goals with no reply. The away side reached La Paz knowing they would be without their talismanic attacker after he was banned for four matches for a crude verbal outburst in the recent victory over Chile. The visitors also knew that this outing would be very demanding physically. But they were unable to cope with either challenge as Juan Carlos Arce and Marcelo Martins Moreno scored the goals which leave the 2014 runners-up looking at the possibility of not qualifying automatically for the 2018 showpiece in Russia.
