ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, in a video message, claimed that by strengthening domestic cricket, the standard of international cricket in Pakistan would rise itself. On the 25th anniversary of 1992 World Cup victory,“I want the nation to witness such happiness again and again,” he said. “In 1992, the team had won everyone’s hearts.” Imran called for improvement in the domestic cricket, saying that Pakistan could have lift more cups if domestic cricket would have been strong. He credited the success of the Shaukat Khanum hospital with the World Cup victory. “Shaukat Khanum hospital would have never been built had it not been for our World Cup victory,” he said.
