ISLAMABAD: Ski Federation of Pakistan’s (SFP) general council meeting on Thursday unanimously elected Air Marshal Asad Abdur Rehman Khan Lodhi, Vice Chief of the Air Staff as SFP president. Pakistan Air Force Air Chief of the Air Staff Chief Marshal Sohail Aman – who is also the Patron-in-Chief of Ski Federation of Pakistan – presided over the meeting, a press release said. In his address, Sohail Aman highlighted the contributions of the office-bearers of the federation. He assured that PAF would continue to extend full support to SFP for its on-going and future endeavours. The Air chief talked about the efforts being made by air force for the social uplift of Naltar and improvement of educational facilities for the children of the area. The meeting was attended by representatives of Ski Associations of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Adventure Foundation, Alpine Club, Higher Education Commission, Civil Aviation Authority, Pakistan Air Force and Gilgit Baltistan along with representatives of Pakistan Olympics Association and Pakistan Sports Board.
