India scored the first goal from in the 22nd minute – by Pardeep Mor. Pakistani Muhammad Rizwan Sr replied with a goal in the 31st minute and levelled the score to 1-1. Pakistan’s offensive added another goal when Muhammad Irfan Jr tapped in Umar Bhutta’s pass into the nets. However, India’s counter was swift as they scored two goals within two minutes – Rupinder Pal Singh scored in the 43rd minute and Ramandeep Singh in the 44th minute.
