BARCELONA: FC Barcelona official Twitter and Facebook accounts were hacked early on Wednesday by a group identifying themselves as OurMine, with the hackers announcing hoax signing of Paris-Saint Germain (PSG) forward Angel Di Maria. Barca official pages announced signing of PSG forward early morning on Wednesday sending supporters into a frenzy, but a couple of minutes later it was revealed that club accounts had been hacked in a tweet that said: “Hi FC Barcelona, it’s OurMine (Security Group), please contact us – ourmine. Org -> Contact Us, and sorry for the hoax” The group tweeted a couple more times before the messages were taken down by Barca officials who said in a statement that: “Our accounts have been hacked tonight.We’re working to solve the problem as soon as possible.Thanks for your patience.” OurMine group has also hacked the Facebook account of CNN, and Twitter accounts of Netflix, Marvel and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg among many others. The attack comes days after Barcelona spokesperson Josep Vives had hit out at club fans for asking Barca president Josep Bartomeu’s ousting saying that fans with such demands do not represent Barcelona but Saudi Arabia, France and other regions. -Screenshots of hacked Barcelona account-
