Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada was the chief guest at the occasion and awarded trophies to the winners.
In a bid to revive international squash events in Pakistan, the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) has been putting tremendous efforts for the promotion of the game in the country. Air Marshal Shahid Akhtar Alvi, PSF senior vice president, former squash legend Qamar Zaman and others were also present on the occasion. Pakistan vs Egypt series will conclude on July 16. "The PSF will bag multiple gains from these events. This will not only project soft and safe image of Pakistan in the international community but also provide optimum exposure to junior players who will take part in the World Junior Individual Championship at New Zealand later this month," a spokesman for the PSF said.
