LAHORE: Cricket Scotland has announced a two match Twenty20 International (T20I) series against Pakistan for June 2018. The two teams will meet at The Grange in Edinburgh on June 12 and 13, 10 years after their last T20I match in the group stages of 2007 ICC World Twenty20. The last cricket match the two teams played was a One Day International (ODI) in 2013 in which Pakistan, led by Misbah-ul-Haq defeated Scotland by 96 runs. The same week Scotland will also play an ODI against England at the same venue. Speaking about the upcoming series, Scotland Captain Kyle Coetzer said, “To have the opportunity to take on a hugely talented Pakistan team at home in two T20Is is wonderful news for both the players and our supporters. With these matches taking place in the same week that we host England in an ODI in Edinburgh it gives us a great chance to show how far we have come as a group in both of these formats of the game”.
