KARACHI: Around 8,965 persons were vaccinated against hepatitis-B in various districts of the Sindh during the month of March. According to a report prepared by the Hepatitis Prevention and Control Programme Sindh Chief Minister’s Initiatives, a total of 44 vaccination camps were organised while blood samples of 7,790 persons were collected. The programme spokesperson on Wednesday said that around 8,965 patients were vaccinated against Hepatitis-B that included taluka Khairpur and taluka Khipro, 765 in Goth Roshanabad Taluka Mirpurkhas, 103 in Mir Shair Muhammad Talpur, 198 in Kandhkot 182 in Rural Health Centre Bakshapur Kashmore, 153 in Kandhkot Primary School, 182 in district jail Dadu, 95 in Goth Qaim Khan Chandio, 105 in taluka hospital of Thana Bula Khan Jamshoro, 162 in Anjuman-e-Akhbar faroshan Hyderabad and 64 in other areas of the province.
