KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday named Sindh Finance Minister Murad Ali Shah as successor to Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah. The PPP leadership decided to make changes to the provincial cabinet and install a new chief minister, at a meeting co-chaired by former president Asif Ali Zardari and party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Dubai a couple of days ago. According to a statement issued by PPP’s media cell, Bilawal eulogised the services of Qaim Ali Shah for the party and the province. He said the party would continue to seek his guidance in future. Later, Qaim Ali Shah called on the PPP chairman at Bilawal House. Bilawal said it was a difficult decision to replace an experienced and loyal party leader.
