KHAIRPUR: The teachers boycotted the duty of examination of BISE Sukkur in District Ghotki on the call of Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association (SPLA) on the arrest of female students on Wednesday. According to details, ASP Ghotki Asif Bahadur arrested two female students of first year Saira and Tahira Dahar from the examination center Umar Deho near Sarhad during the examination over charge of using unfair means in the examination of first year. They were arrested without any policewoman and took them into custody in their mobile vehicle andwere brought to Mir Pur Mathelo police station and were interrogated for over two hours at the police station without any registration of a case. Later the people of area strongly condemned the attitude of ASP and other cops and demanded the removal of ASP. IG-P Sindh AD Khawaja took notice and immediately transferred ASP Asif Bahadur to Mir Pur Khan while the teachers of district Ghotki boycotted the examination duties in district and held protest rallies in different places against poor attitude of cops on Wednesday and demanded suspension and inquiry against the ASP in this regard.
