KARACHI: People across the country are warmly appreciating the Daily Times and ARY Digital Network’s patriotic initiative ‘Shukriya Pakistan’ as recently Saima Builders, Ocean Mall and Jubilee Insurance have joined Shukriya Pakistan campaign. After the signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Jubilee Insurance Group Head Fakher Sohail said, “We are with DailyTimes and ARY in this campaign with an aim to be apart of this outstanding initiative on the Independence Day, so we can thank to our forefathers for giving us such a great country.” Jubilee Insurance Marketing Head Murtaza Zafer said that Jubilee Insurance has contributed in this campaign by preparing an exclusive song which is to be aired on ARY Network throughout the ‘Azadi’ celebrations under the ‘Shukriya Pakistan’ title. ARY Digital Network Senior Vice President for Sales, Muhammad Abrar Karim, said “Overwhelming response from top business organisations to become a part of this campaign is showing the immense love of people of Pakistan for their country and this response is very encouraging for our initiative and this type of campaign was a need of hour.” Meanwhile, Saima Builders also became a part of this campaign. Saima Group Chairman Saleem Zaki said, “We are fully supporting this drive with a purpose to serve the nation.” After the MoU signing ceremony, Senior Manger for Marketing and Leasing of Ocean Mall, Uzma Asim, said, “Ocean Mall is proud to join this campaign and our new generation does not know that how many sacrifices have been given to achieve independence of Pakistan as it is very easy for us to say it is Pakistan, but we don’t know that we are so blessed by Almighty Allah to have an independent country like Pakistan.” ‘Shukriya Pakistan’ will be a two-week long event that would begin from August 1 and continue until August 14, with an aim to highlight and celebrate love and dedication for our country, Uzma said. She said the campaign would also consist of concerts, events, special display of fireworks and other activities throughout the tenure adding that the two-week drive will invite major advertisers, brands and organisations to come and join hands and collaboratively embark on this journey, to generate a positive hype and image of Pakistan. An image that we hope will leave a lasting impact on the hearts and minds of the entire nation this year and for many years to come, she said.
