KARACHI: The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) on Friday signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with China Cultural Heritage Foundation to arrange young doctors’ training in China.On behalf of the PMA, Dr SM Qaisar Sajjad, the PMA central secretary general, and Dr Qazi Muhammad Wasiq, the Pak-China Medical Corridor coordinator, signed the MoU.From the Chinese side, Cultural Heritage Foundation Geng Xianhui, Fran Fu, An Hui Guangli Medical Treatment Corp signed the MoU.Dr Mirza Ali Azhar, Dr Ahmed Bhimani, Dr Abdul Ghafoor Shoro and Mehmat Arif Firal were also present.One hundred doctors will be selected for the training. First batch of the young doctors will be from the field of cardiology. All training programmes will be sponsored. Published in Daily Times, August 26th 2017.
