KARACHI: Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan has appreciated the efforts of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah in new development of Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway and K-IV water projects for Karachities would provide 260 MGD additional water. Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan and Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah along with Director General Frontier Works Organization (FWO) Mohammed Afzal inaugurated a Trauma Center/hospital at village Dumba near tool plaza along with Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway and planted samplings on Wednesday. Talking to the media men, Governor Sindh declared that those involved culprits in Baldia carnage will not be spared at any cost and the compensation money granted for the heirs of more than 300 hundred victims was swallowed down by a political party which is totally corrupt and was minting billions during its tenure. He also criticized Mustafa Kamal over huge corruption by constructing Sharah-e-Faisal road, overhead bridges and other various development schemes in Karachi, MQM district government was a complete failure, he criticized. He also praised former Jamait Islami Nazim Naimatullah Khan on his role in the development of the metropolitan city, but the coming district governments did not play properly instead were involved in heavy corruption during their tenure. According to Governor Sindh, he has direct the DG National Accountability Bureau (NAB) that the people involved in heinous crimes and their activities should not be spared at any cost, it is their responsibility. Governor Sindh recalled that the arms catch was the biggest recovery in the history of Pakistan and also revealed that arms and ammunition which were recovered belonged to MQM whose objective was to fight the Army, police and Rangers in Karachi and it was not ment for targeted activities and killings. It is pertinent to mention here that the Police had seized a large number of weapons including anti-aircraft guns, SMGs, LMGs, sniper rifles, hand grenades, rocket launchers, bulletproof jackets and helmets hidden in the water tank of an empty house in Azizabad. Governor said that FWO is a pioneer organization in the implementing projects of development and road communication; they will complete K-IV and motorway within two years of stipulated time. Speaking in FWO inauguration ceremony, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah praised the role of development by the organization in different schemes in every nook and corner of the province, including Super Highway, National Highway and other areas of Sindh. He assured the Director General FWO of all sorts of support and help which would be provided to the organization for the complete development in province.
