LARKANA: Paramedics of Chandka Medical College Hospital called off the strike and boycott after the intervention of district and sessions judge, Larkana, on Friday. All wards and departments which remained locked for three consecutive days were opened on fourth day (Friday) after the Assistant Commissioner Dr. Masood Bhutto and paramedics association office bearers addressed a general body meeting in Civil Hospital. While addressing the participants, President, paramedics association, Shahi Khan Jagirani, said that they have taken back their protest call on the directives of the judiciary, which has assured of justice and acceptance of our just demands. He further said that it has also been assured that Medical Superintendent (MS) of BS-20 will soon be posted in CMCH. Dr Masood Bhutto also addressed the gathering and assured the paramedics that their demands will be accepted and asked them to have faith on the court. After that all locks of Radiology Department, OPDs and so forth were opened and poor patients started to enter. These poverty-ridden ailing people were seen gratified on hearing the news that Hospital has started working and doctors will examine them and provide treatment.
