KARACHI: Three people, including a boy, were killed in different violence incidents in the city on Sunday.
A teenager boy, Roshan Marri, 14, son of Jamal Marri, was found dead from Birohi Goth within the limits of Manghopir police station.
The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy.
The bullet-riddled body of man was found near a graveyard at Qaddafi Town in Landhi.
The man was first kidnapped and later shot dead, said police.
The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for a postmortem examination. The identity of the victim could not ascertain yet.
Separately, another firing incident took place in Hussainabad area of Federal B Area, where a man was shot dead by unidentified armed men.
The body was brought to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities. The identity of the victim could not be ascertained yet.
Three of a family die: Meanwhile, three members of a family were killed and five others injured when a car collided with a truck on Super Highway near Kathore in the wee hours of Sunday.
Those who died were Haji Rasul, 60; Haji Sultan, 45; and Muhammad Salim, 8. The injured included Nasim Khatoon, 45; Sohail, 11; Sawera, 13; Asad, 9; and Naseem, 52.
The car was completely destroyed. The bodies and the injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment respectively.
