HYDERABAD: The Sindh Chamber of Agriculture (SCA) has demanded of the government to stop supply of sugarcane from Punjab to the sugar mills in the province. The SCA meeting held here said that the growers in Sindh were already getting low rate than the notified by the provincial government. Chairing the meeting, additional general secretary Zahid Bhurgri said that growers in Sindh will suffer financial loss if sugarcane supply from Punjab continues to sugar mills in the province. He also expressed concern over shortage of water in canals and demanded full flow of water so that it can reach to tail-enders.
