SHIKARPUR: The heirs of a four-year-old-boy protested against police at Garhi Yaseen Press Club on Wednesday. The relatives of Muhammad Umar Kakepoto said that their child died of fear when heavy contingent police party raided at their village. The protesters said that police took away their cattle in larger quantity. They demanded that higher authorities should take notice of the killing of their minor child and cattle taken into custody by police Deputy Superintendent Police [DSP] Garhi Yasin, Ghulam Hussain Gadhi told Daily Times that minor boy had died before police reached the Village. He said that his information said that the boy was from thalassaemia and he fell prey to that dangerous disease. An FIR was not registered till this story was filed.
