Karachi: To mark the 70th Pakistan’s Independence celebration, an elegant contingent of Pakistan Naval Academy cadets clad in ceremonial dresses assumed ceremonial guard duties at Mazar-e-Quaid on Monday with traditional spirit, customary enthusiasm and befitting manner. The chief guest of the Change of Guard ceremony Commandant Naval Academy Commodore Adnan Ahmad laid down the wreath of flower on the Quaid’s mausoleum After the Fajar prayers, special prayers were offered for the prosperity, integrity and solidarity of the country and success of the long drawn struggle of Kashmiris. Moreover, flag hoisting ceremonies, special shows, Television programs, cake cutting and fire crackers flashed across the country to rejoice the 70th Independence Day of Pakistan with full zeal and fervor.
