KARACHI: Six people got injured in the jubilant firing incidents on the eve of Independence Day of Pakistan in the metropolis in the wee hours of Monday. According to rescue sources, a 30-year-old woman, Afia, received a stray bullet on Native Jative Bridge and she she suffered injuries. She was rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment. Separately, a 23-year-old man, Wajahat, received a stray bullet injury in Mehmoodabad area. He was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment. Meanwhile, a 20-year-old woman, Naseem Zara, got injured when a stray bullet hit her in Bilal Colony. She was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment. According to rescue sources, a 45-year-old man, Kashif was hit by a stray bullet in Light House. As a result, he suffered severe injuries and was rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment. 25-year-old man, Ghulam Abbas, was injured in a firing accident in Landhi area.
