Karachi: The Accountability Court (AC) has adjourned the hearing of Rs 17 billion corruption case against Dr Asim former petroleum minister and PPP leader till 21st July . The accountability court Karachi took up the Dr Asim’s corruption case for hearing on Saturday. During the course of hearing, Dr Asim and other suspects appeared before court. The counsel for the former CEO SSGC Basharat Mirza sought more time from court for giving his arguments. The counsel informed to court that all the record has been burnt to ashes due to eruption of fire inside Sui gas’s office and he has to obtain documents for further arguments in the case therefore court should give him some more time. The court remarked that much time has already been given and after this no more time will be given . The court while ordering to complete arguments on all petitions on next hearing adjourned the hearing till July 21st. Published in Daily Times, July 9th , 2017
