KARACHI: “Only decentralization and devolution of powers can bring change in the country”, this was stressed by Paksar Zameen’s leader Syed Mustafa Kamal on Monday. While addressing to media, the PSP chairman announced his party manifesto, consisting of 27-points agenda, that the leaders get National Finance Commission Award but do not transfer PFC Award to the local governments; resulting , in the failure to deliver services for the welfare of people. The ruling parties have come into rule and do politics of protest but do nothing for the resolution of the basic and genuine issues including heath education, employment and security of people. “The system has collapsed which is demanding new legislation for through democratic process”. “We believe in the development of economy only on the basis of Human Development Index; which demands over all development of living standard of the nation” “The punch-line of the manifesto is that all of the points are interlinked to one another; concerning the basic needs and issues of people”. The ruling parties gifts ministries and portfolios to their beloveds and family members on the basis of nepotism while Paksar Zameen believes in professionalism. “All professionals must be given concerned ministries”. Talking about the youth and employment, he said,” 55 percent population of Pakistan consists of Youth which he emphasized to be properly channelized. “Policies and programs must be designed for the engagement of youth otherwise they would be misused and would be great threat for the country itself”. He criticized the government for its failure to develop National Urban Plan. “People are migrating from rural to urban areas which said will create imbalance and mismanagement in the civic system “. PSP mandate believes in the implementation of the National Action Plan for uprooting the menace of terrorism from the country. The PSP intends to increase 4 percent of its GDP on education likewise 2.9 on health. To a question, he said that the coming elections would be a defining movement for the nation; whether they want to live in the prevailing system or want t change. “No one can bring change until the mindset of the general public does”, he concluded.
