KARACHI: “The judicial system differs in policies for each province of the country”, said the former information advisor to the Chief Minister, Mola Bakhsh Chandio at a press conference at Kacahi Press Club (KPC) on Monday. Senator Saeed Ghani, Senator Aijiz Dhamrah, Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly Shehla Raza and Kaiser Nizamani were also present on the occasion. The ex-information Advisor to CM Sindh, Mola Bakhsh Chandio claimed that the judicial system has a different policy for each province of the country. Talking to the media, Mola Bakhsh Chandio said that The Supreme Court has been treating them with discrimination and said that they have been accepting all judgments – even the judgment which was passed against their leader Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto – but the Supreme Court still maintains a dual policy of discrimination towards PPP and Sindh. He stated, if the law is the same for all, then why are the ways of its implementation are different for Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa, and Sindh. The Central Information Secretary of Pakistan Peoples Party, Chaudhry Aijaz asked that why Supreme Court does not ask Nawaz Sharif about his constant visits to Qatar and for the money that he has invested in business. He demanded the Supreme Court stop its nepotism and to treat every citizen of the country equally. While condemning the attack on the party leader of PPP Shokat Basra, he said that there is a total absence of law-and-order in Punjab.
