UMERKOT: Lady Medical Officer Dr Kiran and health visitor Tejan of District Headquarters Hospital Umerkot have accused Superintendent District Court Umerkot of abusing and subjecting them to torture through a policewoman in courtroom. Talking to journalists they said after bringing them to court from their respective homes by police Superintendent District Court Akbar Rahimoo abused them and ordered lady police to teach them lesson. They alleged lady police tortured them in presence of three lawyers and court staff. They have demanded justice. Dr Jam Kumbhar MS Civil Hospital Umerkot said that since he was dealing a case so could not give his version on matter. Usman Aijaz Bajwa SSP Umerkot said he has called accused lady police constables in person to inquire the matter and if allegations proved then he would suspend them and deal with matter as per prescribed procedure. On the other hand lawyers forum and bar association have shown anger on social media and demanded justice and announced filing case to inquire matter legally.
