KARACHI: Four people were shot at and injured during a house robbery in Baldia Town area of the metropolis on Saturday, rescue sources said. The armed men broke into a house near Bilal Masjid in Yousuf Goth and tried to loot valuables. The inmates offered resistance which led to the firing by outlaws who escaped empty-handed. As a result of firing by dacoits, Zubair, aged 24, Aqeel, aged 30, Anwar, aged 30, and Sohail, aged 28, suffered severe bullet injuries. They were rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment. Police have registering a case against unknown assailants and started further investigation into the case. Published in Daily Times, July 2nd, 2017.
