RAWALPINDI: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has given approval to make initiation against 650 unoccupied posts of Class-IV in the education department and schools in Rawalpindi. Earlier, a summary had been forwarded to the chief minister seeking his approval to make inductions against the vacant posts of office boy, peons and security guards as schools and education offices had been facing frequent problems in moving files due to non-hiring of lower grade staff. A source said that over 650 seats of Class-IV had been lying vacant for the last many years and around 100 employees were going to be retired next year.
