LAHORE: The City School (TCS) central region organised its ‘Long Service Awards Ceremony’ to recognise and honour the dedicated and committed service of the staff on Saturday at a local hotel. The central region and head office staff members, heads of departments and school management, teachers and tutors, domestic and custodial employees, who played a remarkable role in establishing the network as the leader of education in Pakistan, were acknowledged on the occasion. Former education minister Mian Imran Masood, renowned architect Nayyar Ali Dada and other well-known intellectuals attended the event along with The City School Group Director Jehangir Firoz and other senior members from the organisation. The award recipients were recognised in three categories: 10, 15 and 20 years. The City School also gave out three Umrah tickets to its staff members. The names were picked through a lucky draw also conducted during the ceremony. The contributions and dedication of its valued employees is at the heart of The City School’s remarkable success over the years. The Long Service Awards are the organisation’s way of thanking them for serving the network with commitment, devotion and loyalty. While addressing the occasion, Dr Imran Masood appreciated the decision of The City School to acknowledge the services of employees. He also appreciated the The City School’s vision and said that confidence level of students of is admirable. Masood added that The City School is playing its role in educating the future of the nation.
