LAHORE: In its crackdown on unhygienic food materials, the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has sealed an oil mill and a ghee factory for using poor quality ingredients. The PFA teams raided factories on Raiwind Road and Sheikhupura Road on Saturday and sealed the mills for manufacturing poor quality ghee and cooking oil. Punjab Food Authority Director General Noorul Amin Mengal said the expired ingredients were found in the factories during the raids. It may be mentioned that the authority is responsible for regulating business of food grains, which include purchase, storage and sales. Published in Daily Times, July 23rd , 2017.
