LAHORE: Barrister Zafrullah Khan of the Watan Party on Monday moved an application before the Supreme Court of Pakistan, requesting it to stop the ongoing proceedings of the Panamagate Case and, instead, let the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) thoroughly investigate the issue of offshore companies. He stated in the application that the FBR could properly investigate the matter, since it was involved in collecting revenue from off shore companies. He also stated that the Supreme Court had no jurisdiction to deal with revenue cases. He requested the court to let the competent authority probe the matter.
