LAHORE: The law enforcement agencies arrested 34 suspects, including Afghan nationals, during separate actions in various cities of Punjab on Wednesday. The security personnel also seized arms, ammunition and explosives from those arrested. According to details, police and personnel of the law enforcement agencies conducted operations against outlaws in various cities, including Lahore and Islamabad, and arrested 34 suspects, including 20 Afghan nationals. Heavy automated weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the detainees and they were being interrogated. Last week, dozens of suspects were arrested in search operations carried out by Rangers, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and intelligence agencies and police during search operations in Lahore, Sheikhupura and Gujranwala.
