LAHORE: As many as six master trainers and three advisers from Turkish International Cooperation Agency (TIKA) arrived on Wednesday to provide training to 90 TEVTA teachers in automotive, construction and agriculture machinery sectors. The 21-day training would be held at Government College of Technology, Railway Road and Raiwind Road, Government Technical Training Institute, Mughalpura and Centre for Agriculture Machinery Industries, Mian Channu. This was stated by TEVTA Chairman Irfan Qaiser Sheikh after inaugurating training programme at the Government Staff Training College, Gulberg. Turkish delegates, TEVTA Chief Operating Officer Jawad Ahmed Qureshi, District Board of Management Lahore President Syed Mehmood Ghazanvi and others were also present on the occasion. Sheikh said that cooperation between Turkey and Punjab government was successfully in progress as an MoU was signed between Industries Department and TIKA.
