LAHORE: Justice Shahid Karim of the Lahore High Court has sent to LHC CJ Syed Mansoor Ali Shah a petition seeking execution of Indian spy Kulbushan Jadhav at the earliest, to fix it before some other bench. As the petition came up for hearing on Monday, petitioner Mehmood Naqvi requested the court to fix the hearing before some other bench. The petitioner said that Jadhav was involved in terrorist activates in Pakistan. He said that the government should not show any lenience on mercy petition of the spy. Jadhav was arrested on March 3, 2016, from Balochistan’s Mashkel area for his involvement in espionage and sabotage activities in Pakistan. Jadhav had confessed before the court that he was tasked by RAW to plan, coordinate and organise subversive activities in Karachi and Balochistan. Published in Daily Times, July 4th , 2017.
