LAHORE: Lahore High Court Justice Ayesha Malik on Monday, giving an interim relief, allowed the students of 9th class to sit education board’s examination without B-form of NADRA. The judge passed this interim order on petition of a student who was not allowed by Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education to sit the exams without submission of B-form. Petitioner counsel Sheraz Zaka submitted that this restriction of B-form had been imposed for 9th class students, adding that there was no such compulsion for a student of class 5th or 8th. He said that the board authorities should be directed to inform under what law the requirement of B-form had been imposed, as there was no such law or notification. The board’s counsel sought time from to apprise about the policy on the matter. The judge deferred further hearing for two weeks and directed the board to entertain admission form of students who could not submit B-form.
