LAHORE: The Alhamra Arts Council (AAC) has outlined plans to celebrate Independence Day in a befitting manner. Executive Director Capt (r) Atta Muhammad Khan, Arts and Culture Director Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi, Deputy Director Administration Aftab Ahmad Ansari and Coordinator Niaz Hussain have been tasked to arrange the programmes. As per the schedule, a seminar will be held on August 8 in which journalists, philosophers, writers, and thinkers will talk about the sovereignty of Pakistan. On August 11, an art exhibition will be held, while a grand musical show will be organised on August 12 in which famous actors and singers will participate.A musharia will also be held on August 13.
