SAKHAKOT: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Adviser to Prime Minister Amir Muqam on Tuesday said that the government had approved laying a 12-inch gas pipe to overcome the issue of law pressure. Speaking at a public meeting in Dargai, he said that the PML-N government was taking practical steps to end load shedding and ensure gas supply to most of the areas. “The government allocated Rs 3 billion for the gas pipeline to address the low gas pressure issue in Malakand,” he added. Amir Muqam said that the politics of sit-ins was not beneficial for the country and politicians could not misguide people by launching protest campaigns. “To win the hearts and minds of the people, development projects should be launched to raise the living standards of the people,” he maintained. He regretted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf was not interested in the development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, adding that the change was not visible anywhere in the province.
