ISLAMABAD: The judicial magistrate of federal capital has summoned the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader and member of National Assembly Sheikh Rohail Asghar on May 5. The ruling party’s leader is summoned to record his statement against the allegation, wherein a woman plaintiff alleged that MNA Sheikh Rohail Asghar had killed her husband in a road accident in Blue Area. Earlier this year, Additional Sessions Judge Mohammad Atta Rabbani in response to a complaint lodged by Shaheen Bibi directed Kohsar Police to register first information report of Katal-e-Khata (Mistakenly killed) against MNA. Prior to filing complaint in courts for registering FIR, the woman had approached SSP Islamabad’s office and alleged that her husband, who was a security guard, was hit by a car driven by the MNA under the influence of alcohol. She said her husband died at the hospital. The woman said she had tried to lodge a complaint at Kohsar police station but the police refused to do so because legal action cannot be taken against an MNA. Judicial Magistrate of Islamabad Hamayun Dilawar on Friday took up plea of Shaheen Bibi, wife of deceased security guard Raz Muhammad.
