ISLAMABAD/RAWALPINDI: Six persons have been booked for allegedly kidnapping a woman within the Shahzad Town police jurisdiction of Islamabad. A resident of Shahzad Town Mohammad Ramazan lodged a complaint with the local police that his in-laws have kidnapped his wife, Naila, from a local market. The police registered a case and started investigation. In another news seven men including a woman had been booked for allegedly hurling life threats at a citizen within the Waris Khan police jurisdiction of Rawalpindi. A resident of Waris Khan Malik Mohammad Azam had lodged a complaint with the local police that Abdul Basit, Saba Sadiq and their four accomplices turned up at his house and hurled life threats at his wife over a property dispute. Another man had also been apprehended for allegedly demanding extortion from a citizen within the Sadiqabad police jurisdiction of Rawalpindi. A resident of Sadiqabad Sher Alam, lodged a complaint with the local police that the unidentified extortionist has dropped a letter at his home demanding Rs 70,000 as extortion money.
