KARACHI: Sindh government will establish a Shaheed Amjad Sabri Sufi Music and Qawwali Institute, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman said. According to the party’s media cell, the PPP chairman formed a three-member ministerial committee of Sindh for establishment of the institute, besides promoting Sufi teachings in educational institutions. Bilawal issued these directives during a meeting with Special Assistant on Culture Sharmila Farooqui. The committee members include Senior Minister for Education Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Special Assistant on Religious Affairs Dr Qayum Soomro and Sharmila Farooqui. Earlier, Sharmila Farooqui briefed the PPP chief about the performance of her department and the projects being undertaken for promoting and preserving culture and heritage of Sindh.
