KARACHI: Syed Murad Ali Shah took oath as the new Sindh Chief Minister at a ceremony held at the Governor House here on Friday evening. Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat ul Ebad Khan administered the oath of office. The ceremony was attended by the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah, former prime ministers Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and Raja Pervez Ashraf, PPP leader and lawmaker Faryal Talpur, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani and former Sindh chief minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah. The former ministers as well as Pakistan Rangers Sindh Director General Major General Bilal Akbar also attended the event.
