ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday said that he had already taken the nation into confidence over his assets but some elements are still restoring to negative politics on his government’s positive steps. “Despite his decision on setting up commission led by the chief justice in accordance with the desire of all political parties, the opponents have changed their stance and are politicking with hollow slogans,” the prime minister said in his separate meetings with the parliamentarians. The members of the parliament who met the prime minister here at the Prime Minister’s House included Sardar Muhammad Irfan Dogar (NA-134), Alam Dad Laleka (NA-189) and Mian Najeebuddin Awaisi (NA-184). Nawaz said that his government had record projects completed during his tenure and added that he did not believe in mere customary inaugurations. The Prime Minister mentioned the inauguration of three gas projects yesterday in areas including Abbottabad to Mansehra, Mansehra to Uggi and Mansehrato Shinkiari. He urged apon the parliamentarians to sincerely and dedicaterdly serve the masses. Nawaz said soon 10,000 mega watt electricity would be added to the national grid which would help overcome power shortage. He said the Pakistan’s economy had attained stability with low inflation rate and high foreign exchange reserves. The parliamentarians told the prime minister that people were supportive of his pro-development policies. The Lawmakers apprised the prime minister about progress of development work in their constituencies.
