LAHORE – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Aitzaz Ahsan has demanded the government to conduct forensic audit of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s assets in context of Panama leaks. Speaking to journalists at Lahore High Court Bar, he called for chalking out terms of references (ToRs) for the judicial commission over Panama leaks in collaboration with the opposition parties. He said that new law should be introduced for ToRs of the judicial commission. Aitzaz said that the forensic audit of Panama Papers should be conducted to find out bank transactions. He said billions of rupees for offshore companies were not transferred in bags. He also demanded investigation into the assets of PM Nawaz Sharif and his family. The PPP leader alleged that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif evaded taxes in 1994 and 1996. He demanded that the prime minister to disclose the truth, that Panama leaks hold against him, before the parliament.
