ISLAMABAD: The Sindh government is committed to improve quality, access and equity in education sector. Official sources said that one hundred and six state-of-the-art schools are being built under the Sindh Basic Education Programme funded by USAID, reported Radio Pakistan. An amount of over Rs 13 billion will be funded by USAID while Rs 870 million by the provincial government. Sources said that 58 girls’ primary schools will be upgraded to elementary school in rural areas of 12 districts with the assistance of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
