ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan-China Joint Committee on Defence Technology and Industrial Cooperation held its 13th meeting in Beijing, China. According to a Ministry of Defence Production spokesman, both sides agreed to boost cooperation in the defence production sector. The ministry delegation was led by Defence Production Secretary Syed Muhammad Owais. The Chinese side was led by State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense (SASTIND) Vice Administrator Xu Zhanbian. The concluding session of the meetings were held at SASTIND Headquarters, Beijing. During the meeting, matters of bilateral defence collaboration came under discussion. Both sides expressed satisfaction on the level of cooperation in the field of defence production and expressed keenness to expand existing relations. The meeting agreed to form a joint working group to ensure implementation of defence projects.
