LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira on Saturday threatened Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to topple the government if his party’s demands were not met. “Nawaz Sharif must accept the four points laid by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, if he wants to save his government,” Kaira said, in his address to the party activists. He claimed that in case the prime minister does not surrender to their demands, his party would lead such a campaign that the government would not be able to stand it. Kaira alleged that Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif earned millions of rupees through kickbacks in Danish schools, Sasti roti scheme, and laptop scheme, adding that the ruling party are allies of Narendar Modi hence they are reluctant to raise their voice against persistent Indian aggression. Earlier, Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari warned the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government to meet his four demands i.e., passage of the draft Panama bill, immediate appointment of a permanent foreign minister, reconstitution of the parliamentary committee on national security and implementation of the resolution on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, passed by a multiparty conference, till December 27.
