LAHORE: Punjab Chief Secretary Shamail Ahmad Khawaja directed the district administration to set up special cells for timely redress of complaints of expatriate Pakistanis. He was presiding over an important meeting of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) in the Civil Secretariat on Friday. Khawaja said that the district-level special cells would be closely connected with the local police and other departments so that the complaints of overseas Pakistanis could be disposed of well in time. He said that the OPC was maintaining close liaison with provincial and district administration of the province so that the expatriate Pakistanis feel fully comforted. Director General Hassan Iqbal, Additional DG Police, DIG Ahmed Mubeen attended the meeting, while DCO and police high-ups of Bahawalpur district participated through video-link.
